Niimbot Peptide Label Template

Niimbot peptide label template sizes depend on which printer you own. The D11 takes narrow rolls, 12 to 15 mm wide. The B21 and M2 take wider rolls, 20 to 50 mm wide. This guide lists the sizes from Niimbot's own pages and shows which ones wrap a small vial.

Niimbot label sizes by printer

Roll width means the side that passes across the print head. Label sizes below are long side x short side, in mm, to match the label maker. Niimbot writes D11 rolls the other way round, so its 12 x 40 roll is our 40 x 12.

M220 to 50 mm40 x 20, 50 x 30300 dpi

A few more facts from the same pages:

  • The D11 only takes labels cut to a set length. It cannot use a long, uncut strip.
  • The D11-H comes with a 12 x 40 mm roll. The B21 comes with a 50 x 30 mm roll.
  • The D11 and B21 print with heat on thermal paper, so they use no ink. The M2 prints through a ribbon instead.

Which Niimbot label fits a 3 ml vial

A 3 ml vial is about 16 mm wide, so it is about 50 mm around. A 40 mm long label wraps it and leaves about 10 mm of clear glass, which is enough to see the liquid.

RollWraps a 3 ml vial?Notes
40 x 12 mm (D11)YesRoom for about three short lines
40 x 20 mm (B21, M2)YesFits a 22 mm tall vial body with a little room
50 x 30 mm (B21, M2)No, the ends meet with no gapBetter on a 10 ml vial, 22 to 24 mm wide

Some sites list 40 x 20 mm labels for the D11. Niimbot's own pages say the D11 takes rolls only 12 to 15 mm wide, so that will not work. For the full size chart and the math, see the 3ml vial label size guide.

How to make the label

  1. Open the label maker and type the name, strength, dates and concentration.
  2. Pick the 3 mL vial size for a 40 x 20 mm roll, or open More options and pick 40 x 12 mm for a D11.
  3. Check the preview. It shows the label on a vial and tells you if it fits.
  4. Press Print, or save a PNG.

How to get it onto the printer

There are two ways, and the one you use depends on how your printer connects.

From a computer. If your Niimbot shows up in your computer's list of printers, press Print. Pick the Niimbot, set the paper size to the same size as your roll, and turn off "fit to page".

From a phone app. Save the label as a PNG. The file is set to the label's real size at 300 dots per inch. If your printer's app lets you place a picture, add the PNG there. Then set the app to the same roll size.

Small text gets blurry on a 203 dpi printer. Keep lines short, and use the name line for the one word that matters most.

Add a QR code

Under More options you can add a QR code. It holds only the text on the label, such as the name and dates. On a 12 mm tall D11 label the code is very small, so test that your phone can read it before you print a lot. More tips on printing sheets and rolls are in the peptide vial labels guide.

Frequently asked questions

What labels work with Niimbot printers?

Each Niimbot model takes its own range of thermal labels. Niimbot's stock rolls for the D11, D110 and D101 are 12 to 15 mm wide. The B21 takes rolls 20 to 50 mm wide. Match the roll to the printer, then set the same size in the label maker.

What label size does the Niimbot D11 use?

The D11 uses rolls 12 to 15 mm wide. Niimbot sells them with labels from 22 mm up to 109 mm long. For a 3 ml vial, a 40 x 12 mm label is a good fit.

What label sizes does the Niimbot B21 take?

The B21 takes rolls from 20 to 50 mm wide. Rolls include 40 x 20, 40 x 30 and 50 x 30 mm. The 40 x 20 mm size wraps a 3 ml vial.

Can the Niimbot M2 print peptide vial labels?

Yes. Niimbot sells the M2 for vial labels. It takes labels 20 to 50 mm wide, the same width range as the B21, at 300 dpi. It prints through a ribbon instead of on heat paper.

Does a Niimbot need ink?

The D11 and B21 do not. They print with heat on special thermal paper. The M2 is different, because it uses a ribbon.
